Paul gives private piano lessons in students' homes in the Los Angeles and Orange County area. He has over thirty years of teaching experience.  He accepts students of all ages and all levels.  He has experience with students having special needs including autism, hyperactivity, memory problems, Down Syndrome, arthritis, vision, and behavior problems.  Many of his students are adults who are playing for the first time and those who have played when they were younger and now have renewed interest.

Philosophy of Teaching

The biggest contribution a piano teacher can give a student is to share his enthusiasm for learning and the love of playing the piano.

Each student is unique and therefore instruction must be tailored to fit each student. 

Practicing MUST be very enjoyable and rewarding, if it is not, progress is quite limited.

CORRECT practicing IS very enjoyable and rewarding and makes progress inevitable.
